Wildflowers on Rustic Wood Takes First Place in SilverArts Awards

My latest award-winning still-life photography, "Wildflowers on Rustic Wood," won first place in the Chatham County SilverArts. Specifically, it took first place in the Photography-Digital subcategory. This morning, I attended the awards ceremony at the Siler City Center for Active Living. I also enjoyed the performing arts show, which featured musical bands, vocal solos, and poetry. This is my third year participating in the SilverArts. Last year, for comparison, I took second place for Forsythia in Bud Vase Pottery.

 

This award-winning still-life photography print is part of my still life light painting gallery. In fact, I built it one light pass at a time, working in complete darkness with no ambient light in the frame.
